This week we had a one to one with UK Connect’s MD, PJ Farr, on his view of the business and why customers

should use UK Connect. We also find out about how the company started and the Values and Standards that the company stand by,  which PJ brought into the business from his time in the army to make UK Connect a disruptive player in the market.

So, who is UK Connect?

His History. 

In 2008 our MD, PJ Farr, joined the British Army and this is where UK Connect (formerly Countrywide Telecoms) began. Having always been an inquisitive soldier, he was fascinated at how the Army were able to deploy to some of the most remote locations in the world, yet maintain reliable secure connectivity.

“I started the business in 2013 with a clear vision for what I wanted for our customers and this fell into two clear categories. Firstly, I wanted to offer our customers what they wanted and not what sales firms push on them. The second thing I wanted to do was ensure we constantly offered new products and services to our customers that gave them the edge over their competition.”

Why are UK Connect different?
