UK Connect’s Cellular Broadband connectivity solution will fully replace on-site fixed-line services and traditional I.T. systems
– Exclusive deal finds UK Connect enabling all Cala Homes and Legal & General Homes construction sites with the latest 5G and I.T. connectivity solutions
– Traditional connectivity infrastructure, including Fibre Broadband, can take months to go live on new sites
– Cala’s on-site team will receive fully managed I.T. services from day one including Cellular Broadband, Network Operations Centre (NOC) and a 24/7 I.T. Support Helpdesk
Since 2018, UK Connect has provided many of Cala Group’s construction site offices and sales suites with rapid Cellular Broadband connectivity. After working closely together for so many years, UK Connect is excited to announce the two companies have signed an exclusive national contract, which finds UK Connect expanding its offering to all Cala Group sites, with the latest 5G connectivity and Managed I.T. solutions.
The challenges UK Connect solved
Like many housebuilders, prior to taking on UK Connect’s I.T. solutions in 2018, Cala Group relied on traditional wired infrastructure and connectivity, such as Copper and Fibre Broadband to power its construction sites, both of which can take many months for utility providers to install and to go live. UK Connect’s Cellular Broadband solution resolves this issue as it can be installed in just a few days, enabling Cala’s teams to have full connectivity and fast communication from day one.
In addition to UK Connect’s Cellular Broadband solution, Cala Group will now also be provided with a range of flexible Managed I.T. solutions that are secure, scalable, Enterprise grade and fit for the future, helping to support the housebuilders’ business objectives.
New partnership
As part of this exclusive national deal, UK Connect will provide Cala Group with:
– Fully Managed I.T. Services
UK Connect will take full responsibility for the end-to-end deployment and ongoing support of the I.T. solutions and product portfolio being deployed on Cala Group construction sites. UK Connect will provide day one connectivity via Cradlepoint’s 5G Enterprise-Grade routers, wireless connectivity through a partnership with Ruckus networks, VoIP telephony solutions and onsite I.T. hardware.
Cradlepoint are the world’s foremost expert in wireless Edge solutions with the ability to unlock the power of 4G LTE and 5G cellular networks, while Ruckus pushes the boundaries of communications technology to create the world’s most advanced Wi-Fi networks.
– Full Set-up
UK Connect will ensure all Cala Group’s onsite I.T. resources are fully installed, set-up and configured from day one.
– 24/7 Support
Lastly, UK Connect will provide 24/7 proactive and reactive support, via a Network Operations Centre (NOC) and I.T. Support Helpdesk, ensuring Cala Group has access to an always-on service. Furthermore, UK Connect’s national network of professional engineering teams will be available to support Cala Group’s nationwide I.T needs, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
