UK Connect officially named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing for the second year running (2023)

The UK’s leading connectivity service provider cited for its ongoing commitment to our team’s mental health and wellbeing.

Over the past few years, it’s been increasingly important to companies to look out for every aspect of their team’s mental health and ensure every member feels supported, valued and excited about coming into work. At UK Connect, we value the need for work-life balance and are delighted this has once again been recognised through our second annual ‘UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing’ accreditation.

Launched by Great Place to Work® in 2022, The Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing award recognises organisations that put their team members’ wellbeing at the forefront of their workplace culture, tailoring their approach to individual needs and supporting them as they be their best unique selves. It’s given to organisations who stand out for delivering exceptional wellbeing support across all levels of their business. We couldn’t be prouder to have once again been given this accreditation.

To be named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing, the Great Place to Work® team analyses thousands of surveys completed by team members that give an overview of their experiences of wellbeing at work. These questions – filled in anonymously – ask how a company supports work-life balance, how fulfilled and satisfied team members feel and how they view their psychological safety and financial security. The evaluation also includes an assessment of how well the organisations deliver consistency of their teams’ experience across all departments and seniority levels. 

We always put our people first

At UK Connect, we know how important it is that everyone works together to achieve a common goal and are always working to ensure every single member of our team feels fully supported through personal development programs, training, charity days and a wide range of perks and benefits. We will continue to support our team’s wellbeing as we look to improve our ranking once again next year.

The UK Connect team’s wellbeing has been a priority for me since the very earliest days of the company and has only become more so as the years have gone on. We have three offices across the UK and ensuring the wellbeing of all our national team members is of paramount importance. Following the Covid-19 pandemic, this has placed unprecedented pressure on people's mental health and wellbeing, and we have made significant efforts to try and support them. For this to be recognised for the second year running is a proud moment for the company and me.
