UK Connect provides the solution to poor mobile coverage in Bewley Homes construction site office

The Challenge

For months, Bewley Homes employees had to step outside if they wanted to make a phone call from their construction site office in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. Construction site offices are often made from materials such as metal, which can result in poor mobile coverage when inside the cabin. It’s not uncommon that employees on site have to step outside of a sales office when making a phone call. This was exactly the case with the sales office at Bewley Homes’ Wilton Park development in Beaconsfield.

Employees were having to step outside of the cabin multiple times a day to take phone calls when communicating with suppliers, customers and colleagues. This was having a negative impact on productivity and was seen as a nuisance and an unnecessary waste of time – especially in bad weather!

The Solution
